GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition continues to evolve with every update and the new v1.3 patch brings a long list of fixes improvements and mission adjustments. While this update isn’t a complete fix for everything it does address many bugs and polishes the experience further. Some issues are tied to the original code and may be fixed later in a “Complete Edition” but this patch already makes gameplay much smoother and more faithful to the classic Vice City.

Important Note:
This patch isn't a complete fix for everything. Some major bugs still exist but we've done our best given the fact that some of this code is beyond saving. Hopefully the Complete Edition team get their version out to fix all of this and much more! :)
Installation:
Make sure you have Patch v1.2 already installed and then drag our files on top.
If you have any save files you will need to delete them or the game will crash on launch. You can delete them by going to Documents\Rockstar Games and deleting the VC1.2 folder.

General:
- Lots of code cleanup
- Removed AI Phonecalls
- Fixed mission order (Cap The Collector now unlocks correctly)
- Fixed phone call priority to mirror vanilla game
- Added area checks for some phone calls like in vanilla
IV Pay N Spray spotting mechanic has been removed (doesn't work on such a tiny map). This can be reinstated check the bonus folder in the download :) (NOTE — This is actually backwards swap the img file if you want to REMOVE the mechanic sorry about that!)
- Player spawning logic has been fixed (proper respawn checks spawning at nearest safehouse when loading autosave instead of Ocean View etc)
- Player visual damage now resets after sleeping
- Stats have been mostly redone to mirror vanilla VC as much as possible
- You can now see how much money you have while browsing stores
- Changed baseball bat price from $80 to $90
- Added autosave after collecting a hidden package
- Added autosave after completing a unique stunt jump
- Added $10k reward for last stunt jump like in vanilla
- Added stunt jump text like in GTA IV ("stunt jump completed X stunts remain etc")
- Added cheats that didn't exist already (skin changes)
- ASPIRINE cheat now fixes vehicle tires & visual damage as well
Mission Fixes:
- The Party — Mercedes' subtitles now match her dialogue
- Back Alley Brawl — Corrected gun shop blip location
- Guardian Angels — Increased area radius to mirror vanilla (so you don't fail for trying to collect the health)
- Guardian Angels — Fixed UI textures not loading correctly
- Guardian Angels — Added check for every Haitian being dead or injured before spawning in bikes like in vanilla
- The Fastest Boat — Removed additional spawns to mirror vanilla
- The Fastest Boat — Removed wanted level potential at docks
- Supply & Demand — Removed additional spawns to mirror vanilla
- Sir Yes Sir — Increased garage radius check for end of mission (to prevent getting locked inside the garage)
- All Hands On Deck — Fixed bug where failing mission would send you back to Sir Yes Sir
- VIP — Removed fail condition for killing the rival driver
- VIP — Fixed a bug where the VIP would randomly die after getting in your car
- No Escape? — Cam is now correctly referred to as Cam Jones not Johnson
- The Shootist — Fixed bug where skipping rounds would fail the mission
- The Job — Remove unnecessary edits (vehicle is now taxi and it's parked outside the club like in regular VC)
- The Job — Added check for SWAT members in bank to be dead or injured before player can leave the bank
- Dildo Dodo — Fixed checkpoint collisions so they match the circles in-game
- Martha's Mug Shot — Fixed Wanted Level (4 stars to 5)
- Checkpoint Charlie — Added difficulty levels like in vanilla
- Checkpoint Charlie — Added check to ensure player is in Jetmax or Squalo
- Checkpoint Charlie — Added prompt to start the mission if player is in start radius with Jetmax/Squalo
- Checkpoint Charlie — Disabled collision on packages
- Cap The Collector — Added count check for collectors killed (now you won't be told more are on their way even though you've killed all of them)
- Keep Your Friends Close — Lance now spawns after 60 seconds like in vanilla (was 90 seconds in this patch for some reason)
- Keep Your Friends Close — Lance is no longer invincible before he gets to the roof
- Keep Your Friends Close — Sonny now spawns under the correct conditions to mirror vanilla
- Keep Your Friends Close — Player is now healed on mission start/Lance spawn/Sonny spawn like in vanilla
- Trojan Voodoo — Added m60 spawn at the factory after mission (minigun in vanilla VC)
- Cone Crazy — Cones can now be damaged and you fail if you break them
- Cone Crazy — Reward logic now matches base game

Conclusion
The GTA Vice City Nextgen Edition v1.3 Update makes the game far more stable and authentic to the original Vice City with fixed mission logic improved autosave features rebalanced mechanics and bug cleanup. While it doesn’t solve every issue it’s a solid step forward for fans waiting for a complete overhaul.
